Renowned Tamil Actor Vijay Announces Exit from Films Commits Full-time to Political Journey

On Friday, he declared the creation of Tamilaga Vettir Kazhagam, his political party. The actor declared that he would leave the movie business to pursue a career as a full-fledged politician in Tamil Nadu after finishing two films, “GOAT” and an untitled picture.

Members of Vijay’s party will run in the elections of 2026. The actor helped individuals impacted by the recent floods in Chennai during a recent interaction with pupils in classes 10 and 12.

Vijay declared his intention to run for state assembly in 2026 with the thing of bringing about the intended political metamorphosis in Tamil Nadu. He said in the press release,” With the blessing of the election commission, our party’s programs, manifestos, strategies, and programs will be unveiled, and our political trip for the people of Tamil Nadu will begin.”
