Top 10 Colleges Accepting GATE Score Ranked first is IIT Madras, followed by IIT Delhi; recently, the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore conducted the GATE exam for admission to MTech courses. The GATE exam was held online in two shifts on February 10th and 11th. After clearing the exam, candidates can secure admission to specialized MTech courses in engineering colleges across the country, such as Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and others. Additionally, with the help of GATE scores, admission can also be obtained in research programs. 1 Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M)
At IIT Madras, there are 15 departments for studying various branches of engineering. These include Aerospace Engineering, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Engineering Design, Ocean Engineering, and Physics, along with the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Courses: In all these departments, you can pursue a two-year MTech, a two-year MSc in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and a two-year MA in Humanities.
