Who is Ganpat Gaikwad?
In the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Ganpat Gaikwad is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and represents the Kalyan East constituency.He has won this electoral district three times in a row, first in 2009 and 2014 when running as an independent and then in 2019 after winning the BJP ticket.According to his affidavit for the 2019 assembly election, Ganpat Gaikwad is being charged in 18 ongoing criminal cases.There were rumors of a fight in August between the BJP’s followers and the Shinde faction. Mahesh Gaikwad was injured and was flown to a private hospital in Thane after being treated at a nearby hospital. Gopal Landge, the leader of the Shiv Sena in Kalyan, reportedly later acknowledged that the surgery he had undergone had been successful, according to PTI sources.
